So, you can draw lines, and .. Oh, you can press '+' to make some squares come and dig up your lines! Whee. Well, watching the little things dig and munch colored squares, spending all your money in the process, had its charm, but not for too long. The window was created halfway down the screen so that the end went off, which was a bit annoying since the game grabs the cursor so you can't move it (well, not in Windows, anyway .. hooray for alt-click in Linux). Crashed on exit.

The intro was a nice touch. Great music =). The controls took a little bit getting used to, with the hydra thing flailing this way and that initially, but when I got the hang of it it wasn't too bad. Was fun for a while, but it got a bit repetitive.

The story was fun, but the game itself wasn't much to speak of. It seemed like it may have had more to offer, with the hunger and well-likedness and that, but then the game just quit after the first season, so I guess I'll never know. Update: Just noticed the fixed version, so figured I'd try that. The game no longer quit after the first season, but the gameplay still wasn't very fun.

Well, it's a GROW clone. I really like the GROW games, but didn't think much of this one at all. I think it lacks that kind of twisted alien logic in GROW that makes you keep trying to figure it out, and of course the graphics, animations and sound that contribute to the general feel, giving you feedback and extra incentive to keep trying. "What will happen if I do this ?". All that seems to be lacking from this game.

Wow, this is an excellent game! Great graphics and sound, and really fun to play, too. And the grappling hook... you can jump to certain death, grapple a platform, and sling yourself around while shooting flying pigs and collecting their eggs! I love this game! The only reason I stopped playing was because I have to eat, and there's more entries to vote on. ( Also, love the scroller in the title screen. The world needs more scrollers =) ).

This is apparently a Katamari clone, but I've never played Katamari, so I'll just give it a N/A for innovation. The controls were pretty bad .. I think keyboard control would have been better, or maybe a different kind of mouse control. I like the general idea, seemed like it could have some potential, but then the game crashed when I had completed two levels.

A bit short. Was the game supposed to just exit when I had squashed all the bugs ? It's a nice effect that they calm down if I stop, so that I can slowly sneak up on them .. They always see me and run away before I get to squash them by stealth, though. Maybe if that was changed, a timer could also be added, and you could try to squash all of them in the least amount of time ? Then you could choose between different strategies .. Squash them by bouncing around at light speed, or sneak up on them from behind and.. splat. =)

Well, the game worked, but I couldn't get the menus to do anything most of the time. After the action menu popped up, neither left-clicking nor right-clicking would select any of the choices, or make it go away. Since I assume this was a bug, I'm just putting N/A for fun =). The game seemed like it could have been interesting, though.

There's sounds and music, but it sounds like it's constantly running out of buffer. Maybe my PC is too slow. I'll just give it N/A for sound for now, and try it in Linux later. So, looks like a tetris clone, except the aim of the game is to build as high as possible. I just stacked one piece on top of another, which wasn't very fun. Maybe I played it wrong, but I couldn't see what else to do.

This might have been interesting if it was more fast-paced, but as it is it's pretty boring. Click the link, wait for page to reload (this was usually pretty quick, but not always), then see how nothing happens until you click a couple more times. Meh.

So, abstract fake japanese shooter. Magnificent Gunbright -- brilliant name, and the intro text is hilarious! =) Great idea with the bullets also acting as shield, though I suppose it may be borrowed from one of the games he said this was a cross between (haven't played either). Blobs move a little bit slow, maybe .. somewhat faster movement could be nice. (I wonder how this would play with mouse control ?).

Very nice game. It's fun trying to get the civilization to grow, and figuring out how to get enough to win each level. Extra production points for including a tutorial. Nice graphics.

Never seen a game similar to this before, so I'm giving it top score for innovation. It's fun trying to figure out how to do the levels, and controlling several shoots at once, keeping them from crashing into stuff. Very good! I like the graphics, too.

Hey, it's got music! Quickly looping music, but still, there's some quality work there. In any case, I didn't think the game itself was very fun. You're basically just flying around shooting the black things, trying not to hit the green things. Since they're coming from all sides you have to turn around a lot, and it ends up feeling more like a chore than something you want to do. Then the black things start kidnapping the little green things, using them to make more black things, and soon enough your little colony of hope has been overwhelmed and eliminated, leaving you there all alone in the void with nothing to entertain you but your memories of how you failed to keep the green things safe, maybe even having killed a few yourself. And the music loop, of course.

I managed to get some collectors to the glowing things, but then nothing happened. Made a few warriors too, but there wasn't anything to use them for. The game seems somewhat buggy -- I ended up with multiple endpoints overlapping each other, unfilled areas, lines going to infinity and such. All in all this seems unfinished, but it does seem like it could have some potential.

Nice little platformer. Maybe a bit much walking around, though. Mostly it was pretty easy, but I had some problems getting up the beanstalk at the beginning of level 3 (kept falling into the spikes and dying in a bloody pulp), and the troll scared me when it came jumping along with that angry expression of his =). Textures are a bit on the simple side, but they do their job.

Maybe more of a toy than a game, but hey, it's fun building up your army of termites and watching them consume the buildings -- although it was a bit slow (probably because my PC is ancient), which limited the fun factor a bit. Nice effect as the buildings crumble.

Funny game, with a nice (though disturbing) intro. Unfortunately there's no humor category, and I'm taking the Fun category as meaning how fun the gameplay is .. which isn't really that bad, it's a nice little diversion, but not much else. Nice music, though it got a bit repetitive after a while.

A different take on the one-key cave flyer genre. It's fun for a little while, but I got a bit frustrated as I got higher up -- at one place the balance meter seems to fly off to the left even if I'm going straight up in the middle of the screen, and if I go to the right I'm crashing into evil platforms. Hey, found out why! Balance is relative to your position on the last good platform you passed (Whee, completed level one!). Nice with the automatic pause if the window loses focus.

I had to extract the jar file to get the music and sounds to work (I'd never have tried that if the final page didn't say the readme was in the jar). Anyway, it's an interesting game, but on some levels I won simply by doing nothing. The others were very difficult (is it supposed to move that fast ?) .. it wouldn't be so bad if I was just allowed to cut as fast as I can, but the game forced me to wait before it would accept a new click, which was annoying. The window itself was also somewhat annoying with no titlebar or window border whatsoever. Funny music =)

Swimming around eating circles that make you grow new body parts, avoiding pulsating purple circles. Maybe more of a toy than a game, but interesting.

Nice story =). I kept losing on the wimpy level .. kept running out of ATP, and didn't have enough carbon to build more mitochondria (which is also the only thing producing carbon, in small amounts ..). I know very little about cells, and what little I do know is not in english, so all those alien names and what requires what was a little confusing at first, but when I got the hang of it it was kinda fun. It would have been nice if the game displayed the production/consumption balance in the cell (ATP -5, Sugar +1, Waste -1, etc) in addition to the current amounts.

The theme song was hilarious =). Nice little game, but it was pretty easy and got repetitive after a while. The graphics was nice, but not as nice as some other entries I've given a 4.

The sounds are annoying, but I guess that's the point =). Sometimes I lost before I had even started a level (maybe I started on top of a spike ?).
